FOHA's Upscale Resale Shop is Moving
As of Saturday, March 20, our shop will be located at:
14508-D Lee Rd, Chantilly, VA
(Corner of Rt. 50 and Lee Rd. One light West of Rt. 28)
Weather permitting, we will begin taking donations at the new location on Saturdays beginning March 6th from 10 to 3. Please contact Karen Sylvestre at karenjs@mail.com if you have questions or items to donate. Donations will continue to be accepted at our Middleburg location through Sunday, February 21st. |

About The Treasure Hound
The Treasure Hound is solely to support the FOHA animal shelter. We have many beautiful things - both new and used - we only sell quality items. We have had so many generous donations from paintings and jewelry to oriental rugs and hutches, collector plates and evening gowns, designer shoes and brand new traveling bags. We have candles and animal figurines. We have a large selection of books and have new movies and music coming in each week.
Please think of the store when you are sorting through your closets, attics, basements and garages and when you are ready to shop! We are staffed entirely by volunteers so the overhead is very low - so we have been able to make sizable donations to the shelter! Every time we hear that cash register ring, we think of funding another dog's heartworm treatment, or fixing a kitty's broken leg, or the food we can feed a hungry puppy, or milk replacement for a tiny orphaned kitten. The Treasure Hound is a fun store and truly a win-win situation for everybody!
We are situated right in the middle of Middleburg, a beautiful little town where "animals rule" and everybody is friendly and supportive of our cause. Won't you come out for an afternoon and support our cause, too? We think you will be very happy you did.
All donations to the Treasure Hound are tax deductable!
Volunteer Help Needed
Can you spare one day a month or more to perform valuable volunteer work? If so, the Treasure Hound is looking for you. In order to keep our overhead costs low to provide ALL profits directly to the animals, The Treasure Hound is seeking additional volunteers to staff our store. If you would like to work with the public and help our animals, please consider volunteering some of your time at our store. Donations Wanted
The Treasure Hound resale shop accepts donations of new and quality used merchandise with all the proceeds going directly to the care of our dogs and cats. While not all inclusive, some of the items our store can use are: small-scale furniture, artwork, household decorative items, jewelry, antiques and collectibles, linens, SEASONAL accessory and clothing items for men and women, books and, of course, pet supplies.
